What They Do

Some of the Middle East’s most alarming problems are offering tangible food security, water conservation, economic diversification and sustainability solutions. Pure Harvest Smart Farms tackles these problems through it’s technology-enabled agribusiness based in the UAE that is focused on the year-round production of premium quality fresh fruits and vegetables. They are innovators of the Middle East’s first commercial-scale high-tech greenhouse and they have recently raised $1.75 million (Dh6.43m) in the first phase of a $20m expansion round.

The Guarantee Scheme was and is a key enabler to our success. They were willing to roll up their sleeves, perform real due diligence, and to do the work necessary. MBRIF shares our vision for food security, water conservation and economic diversification and they were willing to take the risks necessary to turn that vision into a reality.
