Selling your car is an incredibly painful process, for sellers it’s endless phone calls and low ball offers, while for buyers, it’s sketchy conversations and hidden damages. CarSwitch.com is out to fix a fundamentally opaque and broken market, the regional car sales market, by driving it into the 21st century. CarSwitch reimagines this process by prioritizing convenience, trust and transparency. We do this by digitizing this process underpinned by a fleet of certified specialists and cutting edge technology to inspect, certify, and warranty every car, vet serious buyers, match them with trusted sellers and guide the two through the full transaction.

About the founder

Imad Hammad founded CarSwitch.com in early 2016. A dean’s list graduate of the University of Toronto, Imad holds an undergraduate degree in computer and electrical engineering. He was formerly an Associate Partner in McKinsey & Company where he led multiple teams to deliver tangible top-line impact.

Imad also held a line role as the Regional Director of Sales and Pricing at OSN where he led product and promotion decisions across 8+ markets.

GITEX was such a fantastic opportunity that the MBRIF provided, where I was given the chance to represent the MBRIF and MOF at GITEX. I had a short time to prepare to present, thinking it will be a small huddle of people to talk in an informal way. But when I show up, I see this massive screen in the middle of the government section of GITEX with hundreds of people there!
