Shahrukh Ghazali (Co-founder): 10+ years of experience in tech product, marketing, and growth, he started his career in Silicon Valley after graduating from UC Berkeley in 2014. Since then, he’s worked on successful startups in the region, including Daraz and Careem. At Aura, Shahrukh handles all customerfacing aspects of the business; product, sales & marketing.
Samer El Mardini (Co-founder): 10+ years of experience in financial services strategy and business planning in the MENA region. He started at Deloitte, then moved to management consulting firms Booz Allen Hamilton and McKinsey after getting his MBA. Most recently, he was Head of Strategy at Careem Pay. Samer handles the supply side of the business, including credit risk assessment, securing lines of credit, ecosystem partnerships and regulatory compliance.
