Mahesh (Chief Executive Officer)
Mahesh comes with 20+ years of experience in networking, media and products. He is a serial entrepreneur in the technology space. On the leadership front, he has been a Co-founder and CTO of Touchfone Technology and held key positions as CTO at ScoopWhoop Media as well as global CTO at ONE Championship. His corporate experience includes successful stints at Bell Labs, Intel and Marvell Semiconductor. Mahesh has been responsible for the design and development of the first sub hundred dollar smartphone. He has also been the brain behind a few start-ups in the networking space. An avid footballer and experimental cook, he combines his passion for technology with people skills in a quest to build companies that create an impact. Mahesh has a Bachelorʼs degree in Computer Science Engineering.
Umesh (Chief Operating Officer)
Umesh comes with 35+ years of experience in the IT industry and has worked in various capacities in Business, Delivery and Technology functions. Over the course of his long-standing career, he has been an integral part of Wipro Technologies and spearheaded new businesses like Wholesale Distribution, Travel, Transportation & Hospitality, Global Public Sector and Professional Services. His leadership stints include 11 years as a Co-founder and CEO of an Offshore IT services Company, where he made significant contributions include expanding Sales into the US and Europe and building necessary Delivery and Quality capabilities offshore, which was successfully acquired in year 2000. He pioneered the concept of Offshore-Development-Centre (ODC) way back in 1993 and created the very first Offshore Product Development (OPD) centre for global players in Delhi. He’s also played the role of a India CEO at ansrsource, a Higher-Ed content development firm delivering millions of Assessments and Instructions globally. He was instrumental in the five-fold growth of the company within a short span of 4 years. Umesh believes in leading by example and his zest for an active life is infectious. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Ajith (Chief Marketing Officer)
Ajith Nayar is a hospitality & travel technology veteran with 25 years of international experience. He has provided strategy advisory and technology consulting services to industry giants like Marriott, Starwood, McDonalds, Burger King, Benihana, Blue Elephant and cruise companies like Carnival and Royal Caribbean. He was Vice President at AugRay and Head-Executive Briefing Centers & Focus Accounts at Wipro Technologies. He has also worked with the Department of Tourism – Government of Kerala and Micros-Fidelio (now Oracle Hospitality). A featured speaker at several conferences, he has also published papers in leading academic journals and industry magazines. He currently serves on the Technology Advisory Board of the Hotel School at the University of Delaware. He holds a MS degree in Information Management and a Bachelors in Hotel Management. Ajith is a history and politics junkie with a passion for travel off the normal road. He is a part time psephologist and still trying to figure out if “Java” refers to good coffee or software.
