MBRIF was delighted to participate in Gitex Future Stars 2020, held in Dubai from 6-9th December. We met over 40 startups over the 4 day event and held various discussion panels, webinars and mentorship clinics to raise awareness of our programs, members and to share our expertise. We were oversubscribed with meeting requests from innovative startups all over the world and we are working hard now to follow up with all the companies we were unable to meet with during the event itself, with a view to assessing their needs and advising them on the most relevant MBRIF program for them. As a result of our Gitex activation, over 40 prospective companies have expressed their interest in applying for the next Accelerator cohort and we expect applications for this program, as well as the Guarantee Scheme, to increase significantly in the coming weeks as we progress our conversations with additional interested startups.
